Foundation Reset: Rebuild The Foundation

Foundation Reset is a movement-first strength program designed to help you rebuild how your body moves, trains, and handles progression. This phase is for people who train but feel stiff, limited, disconnected, or like their strength has outpaced their movement quality. The goal is to rebuild control, awareness, positioning, and foundational strength so you can progress into more dynamic training later.

Weekly structure:
Day 1: Lower Body Mechanics

Squat, hinge, hip, knee, and ankle mechanics

Day 2: Upper Body Strength

Push, pull, press, thoracic control, and scapular awareness

Day 3: Unilateral + Control

Single-leg strength, asymmetry, balance, and positional control

Day 4: Core + Conditioning

Trunk control, anti-rotation, conditioning, and athletic movement

Optional: Mobility Reset

Recovery, breathing, and joint-focused movement when needed

This program is designed for a gym setting. You’ll need access to:

  • Dumbbells
  • Barbells
  • Cable or machine-based equipment
  • Kettlebells
  • Sled
  • Battle ropes
  • Landmine setup
  • Bands
  • Foam roller
  • Open space for movement work

This is not designed for minimal home setups.
